Our company originally began in 1976 in our own backyard.  After learning the business in his college years as a golf course maintenance manager in the Monterey area, Mike’s introduction into residential landscaping started with the very first house he bought with his wife Anne in Auburn, CA.  The house was newly built and had no landscaping.  Irrigation was simple to install in such a small area. The plants were chosen with knowledge of the region in which they would thrive.  

Through word of mouth by neighbors and dear friends in the Real Estate industry home owners and building contractors became aware of us. The business grew with many jobs in small subdivisions. 

After 3 years of experience and more education in this field Paradise Landscaping became formalized in 1981 when Mike obtained his California Landscape Contractor’s License. (#455974)

Since then we have expanded to more upscale residential projects in the Los Lagos and Shelborne gated communities in Granite Bay, and the Winchester Country Club Estates in Meadow Vista.  We also have ongoing projects at exclusive resort communities including Lahonan and Martis Camp, Truckee, North Lake Tahoe.

We specialize in shade and drought resistant landscaping that will enhance the value of your property. As well as having a low maintenance yard, this allows homeowners to see a great deal of savings with reduced water usage.
